Silverman in 1978 and began the firm on its course toward prominence. That course became clearer in 1987 when Gottlieb & Pauker merged with the then sixty five year old firm Silverman & Trachtenberg to become Trachtenberg & Pauker, LLP. The newly formed partnership proved a propitious match as Martin Pauker and Marvin Trachtenberg complemented each other's skills and the company grew rapidly in size and service.
